Privacy & Data Handling

NoToday is designed to help people check suspicious messages without requiring personal accounts, tracking, or behavioural profiling.

No personal accounts required

The NoToday scanner does not require users to create an account, log in, or provide personal identity information. The system is designed to work without collecting personal data.

Message scanning

When a message, link, or screenshot is submitted to the scanner, the system analyzes the content to identify patterns that are commonly associated with scams.

The analysis focuses on the text itself, such as suspicious domains, payment instructions, impersonation attempts, credential requests, and other known scam signals.

Temporary processing

Submitted content is processed only for the duration of the scan in order to produce a result. The system does not create user profiles or behavioural histories.

NoToday is designed to evaluate each scan independently rather than linking activity to a specific person.

Data storage

NoToday does not store personal conversations or build archives of messages submitted by users.

Certain technical logs may exist for system reliability and security monitoring, but these logs do not contain personal identity information and are not used for tracking individuals.

Screenshots and uploaded content

If a screenshot is uploaded, the image is processed to extract visible text for analysis. The purpose of this step is only to allow the scanner to evaluate the message content.

The uploaded image itself is not used to identify individuals or create user profiles.

No behavioural tracking

NoToday does not track browsing behaviour across websites, does not create advertising profiles, and does not use tracking technologies to monitor individuals.

Third-party access

NoToday does not sell user data and does not share submitted content with advertisers or marketing networks.

User responsibility

The scanner is intended as a decision support tool to help people recognize potential scams. Users should always verify financial requests directly with the organisation involved before sending money or sharing sensitive information.
